Welcome!
My yellow kayak with the Moriches Bay in the background.
Welcome to my website, and more specifically, my blog!
I’ve decide to offer a few options on this platform in order for interested folk to get to know my practices, my works, and my interests better. Even more, I would like to showcase my experiences!
As of today and the start of my time managing here, I am working at New York State Parks and also mentoring with the regional photographer for Long Island. Most recently, we have covered the Camellia Festival at The Planting Fields and will be working on Memorial Day’s historic village, located at Jones Beach.
Here on Long Island, we are also welcoming spring. The pollen has been brutal, but I have practiced getting out about twice a week for kayaking. I have a bright yellow recreational kayak that has been helping me practice mileage through the bays. I’ve done a few miles in Moriches Bay and really enjoyed my time in Flanders Bay this past weekend. The jellyfish are out!
Keep updated through here if you are interested in my time training for sea kayaking, enjoy some first person writing, or curious about my photography shoots, as I will share my experiences afterwords.
Thank you for reading and I hope to have this come a long way in the next year!
Best Fishes,
Lillian
